Surface of Saturn's moon Titan
Central Titan, it turns out, is covered by sand, some of which appears strange. Images from the Cassini spacecraft currently orbiting Saturn have uncovered long rows of huge sand dunes near Titan's equator that rise as high as 300 meters.  For comparison the Great Pyramid of Giza in ancient Egypt, 146 metres (479 ft) tall.
Titan is a dynamic place, with winds and rains, lakes and mountains, volcanoes and earthquakes (make that titanquakes). It is the only known moon in the solar system with a fully developed atmosphere consisting of more than just trace gases. There's even evidence that Titan contains an underground ocean.
